Archeo~Arts hasworked
with some of the world’s finest aquarists, paleontologists and
scientists to create world-class museum exhibits on two
continents. We can bring original concepts from design to
installation or work with your staff and designers to enhance
existing exhibits.
Originally
intended to be up for only 8 to 12 months, this exciting exhibit
was held over an additional 2 years because of overwhelming
popular demand.
In addition to bringing the original idea, Archeo~Arts director,
Terri Haag, hand-built the Devonian Diorama, and all but one
life-model. As Art Director for the project, Haag worked
closely with Two Oceans Aquarium staff and sub-contractors to
design the dry exhibits, write and oversee signage, and create
the over-all look.
FossilStories was a
permanent museum exhibition showcasing South African Permian
mammal-like reptiles with an emphasis on how paleontologists
find and prepare fossils then decipher the information they
contain.
AsProject Manager and Art Director, Archeo~Arts was
responsible for styling and displaying all fossils, models and graphic
elements; designing and styling each display case; writing or editing
all text and copy; producing all signage; acquiring and producing
numerous large-format graphic elements; and directing Iziko staff and
sub-contractors.
Sharkworld
was written, styled and installed
by SWH Design Partners, a collaboration between Hoffman Wentzel,
Raymond Smith and Terri Haag, under the oversight of Dr. Leonard
Compagno, the world's foremost shark expert.
